Meet the Team

Deborah is the founder and CEO of PillowSak. Deborah was born in Leeds, England and immigrated to the United States when she was 14 years old. Deborah is married and has two grown daughters and a rescue pup. She began her career as a first and second grade teacher, retired and raised her two girls. Deborah is currently having a ball traveling around the United States promoting PillowSak.

Renee worked in banking for approximately 40 years. Renee enjoys spending time with her family, daughter and grandson. Renee enjoys spending time doing yard work and watching Hallmark movies

Ms. Linda is a wife and stay at home mother of five who homeschools her children and being with family is her favorite place to be. Linda has been a seamstress since teenage-hood and has sewn everything from play clothes to entire bridal party dresses. Linda enjoys photography, cooking, exploring nature, foraging, and learning survival skills. 

Beverly was born and raised in Ohio. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant until Beverly and her husband purchased their own business and operated Sail Harbor Marina for 36 years in Savannah, GA. Beverly learned to sew from her grandmother and 4-H when she was young; today Beverly is a quilter along with sewing for PillowSak.

Ms. Melanie is a wife and mom to two wonderful boys and they reside in Savannah, GA. Melanie started sewing about nine years ago because she wanted to make cute things for her children and sews everything from tote bags to clothing and now PillowSaks! Melanie enjoys graphic design, digital art, screen printing and tie. Melanie owns her own business Groovy Grains Bake Shop where she specializes in gluten-free baked products. 

Carol was born in Savannah, GA and grew up on Tybee Island. She attended Savannah Country Day School and Armstrong State College. She is married and has two grown children. Carol enjoys living the country life – gardening, raising chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. Carol has being working for PillowSak for the past two years.

Terri has lived in Springfield her entire life. Terri enjoys fishing and working outdoors; she has two daughters, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who she absolutely loves spending time with. Terri has been working with PillowSak for about a year and truly enjoys it. 

Richard was born in England and emigrated to New York in 1982. Richard loves anything to do with soccer and enjoys working outside. Richard constructs every PillowSak strap. 

Anne relocated with her husband John to sunny Savannah from Western New York 12 years ago. Anne is an assistant teacher in 2nd grade at Savannah Country Day. She loves to travel and spend time with her three grandsons. Anne loves the beach,taking cooking classes, reading and spending time with friends.

Brooke is our website manager in between her busy moments of being a stay-at-home-mom to 4 very active children. She is a wife, competitive dance mom, fur momma to 3 dogs and 3 cats and while she is managing our website, she is also running her own digital marketing and content creation businesses on social media. In her downtime, she loves reading, baking and spending time with her family. 

Angela is a mom of three crazy, wonderful kids, and wife to an equally crazy and wonderful husband, Scott for 22 years.  Angela has been a staff accountant for 15 years at the same firm and continues to help small businesses on the side with accounting. She loves football, ice hockey and rescue dogs (3 of those crazies live with her).
